Overview
In this role, your tasks are focused on the following main areas:
- Serve as Project Lead or Reviewer for complete test programs across assigned testing technologies.
- Define project scope, develop test plans, review reports for accuracy, and ensure deadlines are met.
- Manage all project-related activities, including coordination with internal teams and clients.
Project Leadership & Management
- Serve as Project Lead or Reviewer for complete test programs across assigned testing technologies.

Client Communication & Support
- Maintain frequent contact with clients and sales to communicate project status and results.
- Address client concerns, resolve issues, and ensure proper communication of technical requirements.
- Support Sales in determining project specifications (cost, time, sample requirements) and negotiate completion dates.
Technical Expertise
- Study and apply relevant test standards, technologies, and regulations.
- Act as Subject Matter Expert (SME) for local office and key customers regarding standards and certification programs.
- Perform standard test procedures when required and develop special test methods or equipment for new standards or efficiency improvements.
Team Management
- Lead and manage a team to achieve role goals and responsibilities.
- Set objectives, provide feedback, and conduct performance appraisals.
- Manage training programs to maintain capacity and quality of testing.
Financial & Operational Accountability
- Responsible for revenue generation and cost management within the area of responsibility.
- Analyze and adjust costs to optimize profitability.
- Integrate continuous improvement practices into all processes.
Qualifications
The ideal future Operations Leader should possess the following qualifications:
- Master’s degree in engineering, Industrial Technology, Manufacturing Technology, Physics, or equivalent proven experience in the field.
- Solid background in Testing, Inspection, and Certification within sectors such as Medical Devices, IT, and Laboratory Equipment.
- Fluent proficiency in both English and Italian.
- Willingness to travel across European territories.
- Expertise in strategic planning, budgeting, and full P&L management.
- Good Leadership skills, including team development, performance management, and workforce planning.
- Analytical and decision-making abilities, with a focus on risk management.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of simplifying complex concepts for diverse audiences.
- Hands-on experience with Lean Sigma methodologies and technical leadership.
- Cultural awareness and collaborative mindset to thrive in diverse, international environments.
