Operations Engineer (Shopfloor Digitalization)

Key Responsibilities
1. Technical Implementation & Connectivity (Individual Goals)
- Hardware Integration: Establish data connections for a variety of shopfloor assets, including legacy manual machines and modern CNC controllers.
- Systems Architecture: Maintain and configure the Local Server environment, specifically managing VM SCADA and VM Database instances as shown in the system architecture.
- Data Pipeline Management: Ensure reliable transmission of shopfloor data to the MES (ABMS) and integration with "Other Systems & Data Sources."
- Release Management: Drive the architectural release for Cluster 1 (CH1) and conduct gap analysis for future replication to CH2/LBC.
2. Project Strategy & Validation (Team Goals)
- Pilot Execution: Successfully connect the pilot machine within the first 3 months to validate the Minimum Viable Product (MVP).
- Use Case Development: Collaborate with the project team to define and implement data-driven use cases that provide operational value.
- Quality Assurance: Lead Key User Acceptance Tests (KUAT) to ensure the digital solution meets the needs of shopfloor operators and plant management.
Project Timeline & Deliverables
You will be responsible for hitting the following milestones:
- Month 3 (Pilot): Data connection of Pilot Machine and MVP validation.
- Month 9 (Beta): Completion of CH1 machine connections and initial Use Case deployment.
- Month 12 (First Release): Full CH1 architecture release, completion of acceptance tests, and roadmap for CH2 replication.
Technical Profile Requirements
Education & Experience:
- Degree in Automation Engineering, Industrial Informatics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT) or Shopfloor Digitalization projects.
