We are seeking a Operations Assistant to support our Operations department . This role involves close coordination with brokers and clients to ensure the efficient arrangement, registration, and processing of transactions. The successful candidate will contribute to high-quality service delivery and operational efficiency in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Responsibilities
RTO Desk Support
- Liaise with brokers to facilitate, negotiate, and complete cleared brokerage transactions.
- Coordinate with brokers to support the arrangement of cleared deals.
- Register cleared trades with exchanges in an accurate and timely manner.
Operational Duties
- Proactively identify operational issues and potential risks, escalating where necessary.
- Collaborate with front and back office teams to ensure efficient support of brokerage operations.
- Ensure all brokerage transactions, including options and structured trades, are processed, confirmed, and recapped to clients (where applicable) promptly and accurately.
- Handle client queries promptly and professionally, ensuring resolutions meet client expectations.
- Input and maintain credit information in Griffin’s internal systems on a timely and accurate basis.
- Assist in resolving REMIT reporting issues.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- Prior experience in a middle office, operations, or trade support role within a brokerage environment is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and accountability.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with brokers, clients, and colleagues across departments.
- Fluency in English is essential; knowledge of French or Italian would be a plus.
