Operational Risk Manager

We are looking for an Operational Risk Manager to support the Head of Operational & ICT Risk. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with the Head of Risk Management of several Asset Management Companies, the Group Chief Risk Management Function, and Generali Investments Holding Functions.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate closely with the Head of the Risk Management function of several Asset Management Companies, Group Chief Risk Management Function and Generali Investments Holding Functions.
• Steer and coordinate the implementation of Operational and ICT Risk Management Framework, including the adoption and implementation of applicable internal regulation by GIH subsidiaries.
• Monitor the outcomes of the Operational and ICT Risks analyses performed by the GIH subsidiaries.
• Monitor the implementation status of the Operational and ICT Risk Management Framework at GIH subsidiaries level.
• Provide a consolidated view of Operational and ICT Risks for the Generali Investments perimeter to be reported to Generali Investments Risk and Control Committee and BoD.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance or Quantitative disciplines (or equivalent experience) or Computer Science, Information Technology (or equivalent experience).
• Extensive understanding of Financial Markets and Asset Management Industry practices with at least 5-10 years of relevant related experience in Risk Management or Operations (or other similar experience - e.g. Business Consulting).

Technical Skills

• Minimum 5 years operational risk management experience or extensive experience in operations.
• Strong understanding of Asset Management Companies' organization and processes.
• Up-to-date working knowledge of regulatory requirements and changes, especially those related to the Asset Management Industry (e.g. DORA).
• Strong computer skills with working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, PowerPoint and Excel.

Nice to have

• Working experience in UK, US or international asset management financial institution is a plus.
• Working knowledge of VBA, Power BI, GRC tools.
