Operational Excellence Specialist

Primary function :

In this exiting role you will be enrolled in the Lean Manufacturing Iveco Group central team and, through the strategic deployment of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement tools and techniques, you will be asked to deliver operational improvements. You will be involved in the management of specific projects in business unit / plants - besides being involved in daily operational activities. You will support your manager in the implementation and coordination of the Lean Manufacturing goals and strategies for improving the operations and processes within the assigned business units or plants.

Essential responsibilities :

• Lean Manufacturing logics implementation within the plants
• Support in production performance analysis- using methodological and statistical tools:
• Projects to improve production lines through analysis of lines performance
• Analysis of industrial production processes and cycles based on Lean Methodology
• Participate and collaborate in the Continuous Improvement process
• Follow-up on improvement projects and results

Requirements:

• Master’s degree in engineering (Management, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering education or any relevant field)
• Lean toolkit application knowledge is a plus (value stream mapping, Kaizen, 5S, Kanban, Error proofing, SMED, team problem solving, etc.)
• Project Management principles and toolkit knowledge
• 2-3 years of experience in manufacturing roles.
• Availability to travel (up to 65% of the time).
• Ability to report to Management
• Advanced level in office suite.
• Flexibility, Learning agility, teamwork skills
• Proficiency in English language. Italian, Spanish, French is a plus.
• Belt (or similar) certification is a plus as a proven record of lean tools implementation in industry environment.
