About us:
NIDEC FIR INTERNATIONAL Srl, a company belonging to a Japanese multinational group leader in the design and production of ELECTRIC MOTORS with a strong presence in the foreign market, is looking for its Creazzo (VI) plant a Operational Excellence Manager.
Main Responsibilities:
- Lead Operations cost reduction leadership program at all Nidec FIR and support the Operations Director on specific programs related to process & manufacturing technology, maintenance, lay-out reorganization, equipment replacement strategy to save cost & improve productivity in order to get benefit in the plants KPIs;
- Expand the continuous improvements activities through the application of lean mfg./ WCM methodology in all Nidec FIR. Assure to generate value through the application of the methodology to improve productivity, reduce break-down, assure equipment basic condition, optimize labor cost, assure quality and safety in a friendly environment. Standardize documents, develop training courseware, perform internal audits and share best practices expertise among the plants and capture external best practice aiming to implement an ideal production system inside FIR sites;
- Lead Operations Profit plan yearly planning cycle at Nidec FIR. Define main drivers and coordination of Target definition/validation by site for all the main Operations KPIs (with the support of specific areas) to ensure to be aligned with the company expectation in terms of finance results, quality, safety and service level;
- Management and monitoring of all the Operation KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) and Capex along the year;
- Coordination of manufacturing medium-term Strategy route map at Nidec FIR, to assure integration with product development focusing on productivity, labor and expenses cost optimization aiming to the cost competitiveness.
Requirements:
- Master’s Degree – Engineering (production, mechanic, management or similar);
- WCM methodology/lean manufacturing and Project Management knowledge;
- Basic Finance/Investment;
- MS Office package and Presentation skills;
- Good knowledge in English.
