Salary : 50000 gross per year

Job Summary
The Operational Director supports the General Manager in overseeing the resorts day-to-day activities focusing on operational efficiency, service consistency, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise all operational departments (Rooms Division, F&B, Maintenance, Spa, Housekeeping).
- Implement and maintain service standards and operational policies.
- Coordinate between departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
- Analyze KPIs and operational reports to improve efficiency and profitability.
- Train, mentor, and develop department managers and supervisors.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene standards.
- Daily management of hotel operations.
- Collaborate with various departments to facilitate communication between strategy and operations.
- Build collaborative relationships with employees across all departments.
- Develop and implement service procedures and standards.
- Identify staff training needs and provide coaching and mentoring.
- Participate in performance evaluations and provide continuous feedback.
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and apply operational insights.
- Motivate the team to achieve goals and professional growth.
- Effectively manage complaints and escalations.
- Prepare regular performance reports for presentation to the General Manager.
Requirements
Minimum 5 years of experience in hotel or resort operations management.
Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Fluent in Italian and English (both required).
Hands‑on proactive attitude with a guest‑oriented approach.
Knowledge of hotel management software and operational best practices.
Proven experience in similar roles.
Knowledge of a third language is a plus.
Strong communication skills and customer orientation.
Excellent organizational skills and results‑oriented approach.
Experience in project management and operational implementation.
