Overview

Store Manager role at Sephora Milano via Torino, focused on delivering strong financial performance, leading a diverse team, and creating a customer-centric shopping experience in a dynamic multinational retail environment.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the achievement of the store's financial performance (budget and target attainment).
  • Coordinate commercial and organizational activities within the store (promotions, events, new product launches, CRM campaigns).
  • Manage the store's profit and loss statement (inventory discrepancies, operating costs, personnel costs) and propose new strategies to optimize cost categories.
  • Analyze and drive KPIs related to customer behavior (store traffic, average transaction value, units per transaction, etc.).
  • Manage stockroom, maintain optimal stock levels in accordance with product replenishment cycles and merchandising strategies.
  • Implement company procedures (regulations, safety procedures) and commercial policies (pricing, promotions, communication) established by central departments.
  • Lead Sephora Specialists (Department Managers) who welcome customers and engage them on the sales floor.
  • Collaborate with the Area Manager and HR in designing customized internal career development programs.
  • Create a climate where people are motivated to do their best to help the organization achieve its objectives.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3–4 years of experience in similar roles, preferably within dynamic multinational retail environments.
  • Knowledge of key commerce KPIs and confidence in budget management, analysis, and daily reporting.
  • Agility, dynamism, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong results orientation.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a complex and sizable team, guiding them toward objectives and fostering a positive, collaborative team spirit.
  • A strategic vision: ability to anticipate future possibilities and translate them into breakthrough strategies.
