Overview
O&M Manager - Commercial & Business Development (m/f/d) based in Verona, Italy. Join our dynamic O&M team who have around 75 MW PV in total, including a BESS project, with a strong drive to add to the portfolio. This is a full-time position reporting to the Head of O&M – EMEA and working closely with the O&M Team Leader – Italy.

Responsibilities
- Business Development
- Formulate O&M sales strategies and implement them.
- Achieve the company’s sales targets for 3rd party O&M services.
- Participate, with the EPC Sales Manager, in the sales process and contract negotiations of O&M contracts from the EPC + O&M sales stream.
- Negotiate and renew current O&M contracts.
- Manage the overall response process to RFQs.
- Develop and present commercial proposals to clients.
- Monitor market intelligence on market development, competitive activity, customers, pricing and services trends.
- Establish, grow and maintain relationships with key clients, existing and potential ones.
- Network at relevant industry events.
- Commercial Management of Existing Contracts (Utility Scale)
- Acquire knowledge of all contractual requirements and support the O&M team with contractual queries.
- Own all contractual deliverables; maintain tracking registers for on-time documentation (operational reports, HSE documents, invoices, etc.).
- Serve as the first point of contact for clients on contractual or commercial issues.
- Negotiate additional work/variation orders; manage quotations & invoicing.
- Manage client claims from a commercial perspective.
- Coordinate with suppliers and O&M subcontractors on pricing, terms, and warranty claims with the O&M Team Leader.
- Budgeting & forecasting (including monthly budget tracking).
- Support the O&M Team Leader and team with other tasks, including O&M or revamping activities in the Italy portfolio as needed.
- Act as a backup for the O&M Team Leader when needed.
Your energy is required
You impress us with these qualifications:
- Engineering or commercial educational background.
- At least 7 years’ experience managing O&M or EPC contracts for PV plants or other powerplants.
- At least 5 years’ experience selling O&M or EPC services for PV plants or other powerplants with a strong track record.
- Experience in construction, commissioning, or O&M of utility-scale PV plants (>20 MWp) is a plus.
- Experience working for or with corporate clients/large IPPs is a plus.
- Strong IT skills, especially MS Excel.
- Excellent English (spoken and written).
- Ability to stay in control and perform under pressure; self-driven with limited supervision.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills; good administrative and reporting skills.
- Willingness to travel domestically or internationally (~10%).
- Valid driver’s license.
