Nurse Practitioner – Refugee Health
Location: London, Ontario, Canada.
Employment Types: Full-Time Permanent (37.5 hours/week), Part-Time Temporary (30 hours/week) 12-month contract to cover a planned leave of absence.
The Health Centre seeks a dynamic Primary Care Nurse Practitioner to join our clinical team dedicated to providing health care to those who experience barriers to care. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a difference in the lives of newcomers and refugees, and those significantly marginalized by poverty, addiction, mental health, and housing issues.
This role will work with our refugee health clinic, supporting newcomers to Canada along the continuum of care within a health promotion framework and liaising with interdisciplinary team members and external care providers to facilitate the best plan of care for clients.
