Soilmec SpA is seeking:
NORTH ITALY SALES MANAGER
The candidate will be responsible for managing direct and indirect sales within the assigned geographical area, with the goal of achieving the targets set by the Sales Management.
Responsibilities

  • Support the Sales Department in defining commercial policies and actions to develop the target market.
  • Develop the sales budget in coordination with the Sales Management.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and evaluate sales initiatives.
  • Directly manage the assigned area, ensuring the achievement of sales and profitability objectives.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing customers, constantly monitoring their satisfaction, including through regular visits.
  • Identify new customers through any available channel, implementing promotional and incentive programs.
  • Perform periodic checks on invoice status and payments received, as well as on the progress of sales initiatives in the assigned area.
  • Monitor critical customer solvency situations, defining credit limits within the assigned thresholds.
  • Identify and develop new dealers in the assigned area.
  • Support product range planning by identifying product development/modification needs within the assigned area.
  • Define and verify pricing policies in the assigned area.
  • Participate in the organization of industry trade fairs relevant to our products.
  • Prepare travel reports and submit them to company management.
Requirements
  • University degree (a technical degree is a plus).
  • At least 5 years of experience in a similar role within the industrial machinery and/or earthmoving equipment sector.
  • Knowledge of commercial contracts and common international payment methods is preferred.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the assigned territory.
  • Good command of the English language.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills.
  • Strong contextual analysis and problem‑solving abilities.
