We are currently looking for a talented Night Manager (Portiere di Notte) to join our Opening Team at Palazzo Morrocchi Florence – A Stanley Collection Hotel.

As a Night Manager (Portiere di Notte) , you will be both the welcoming face of our hotel during overnight hours and the guardian of its financial and operational integrity. Balancing guest service with night-time accounting duties, you will ensure a seamless guest experience while accurately preparing the hotel’s daily reports and closing procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist late-arriving guests with check-in, check-out, and concierge services, maintaining a warm and professional presence throughout the night.
• Perform nightly audit procedures, balancing daily transactions, verifying room charges, payments, and postings, and preparing financial reports for management.
• Ensure the accuracy of guest accounts, process all payment types, and manage reconciliations according to hotel and accounting standards.
• Act as the main point of contact for guests during overnight hours, promptly handling inquiries, special requests, and any service needs, also taking care of the Night Room Service.
• Monitor hotel safety and security during the night shift, reporting any irregularities and ensuring a calm and secure environment for guests and staff.
• Maintain front desk operations, including handling reservations, updating guest records, and preparing documentation for the following day’s shift.
• Support internal communication between departments by ensuring accurate handover notes and guest information.

Ideal Candidate Must Have:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent Italian and English (additional languages are a plus).
• A polished, professional appearance and demeanor.
• Previous experience in similar roles (Night Auditor / Front Desk) for at least 2 years.
• Familiarity with Opera Cloud (PMS) or similar systems is preferred.
• Strong numerical and organizational skills, with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, with problem-solving mindset and discretion.
