Overview
Part of Marriott International, Casa Brera is recruiting a Night Duty Manager for a fixed‑term contract starting in March.
Responsibilities
- Represent property management in resolving any guest or property related situation during the night shift in full autonomy.
- Manage the flow of questions and direct guests accordingly.
- Serve as Guest Relations Manager / Front Desk Manager and handle tracking of service issues.
- Complete end‑of‑day activities including posting charges to accounts, running night audit backup, and rolling the date.
- Direct, monitor, and assist all overnight staff, coordinating engineering, housekeeping, security, and F&B operations.
- Coordinate emergency team and serve as reference for any emergency.
- Conduct regular inspection tours for appearance, safety, staffing, security, and maintenance.
- Participate in investigation of associate and guest accidents and report to relevant systems.
- Ensure compliance with loss‑prevention policies, emergency plans, and operational guidelines.
- Maintain safe work environment and proper grooming/ uniform standards.
- Track guest and employee scores, report variations, and improve service performance.
- Process all check‑ins, check‑outs, walk‑in reservations, and ensure rates match market codes.
- Handle guest issues, complaints, and provide immediate assistance.
- Empower associates to deliver excellent customer service and maintain high standards.
Qualifications
- 1–2 years experience in a management position in guest services, front desk, or related professional area.
- Knowledge of luxury and lifestyle hospitality standards and operating procedures.
- Ideally, knowledge of Opera.
- Fluency in Italian and English; other languages are a plus.
- Availability to work the night shift on a regular basis.
