Neurohospitalist

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Neurohospitalist, located in the San Angelo area. The Neurohospitalist will be responsible for providing specialist neurological care in a hospital setting, diagnosing and treating patients with neurological disorders, collaborating with other healthcare professionals, and managing patient care plans. Additionally, the Neurohospitalist will play a key role in coordinating neurological treatments and ensuring high standards of patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in diagnosing and treating a range of neurological disorders
• Strong collaboration skills to work effectively with other healthcare professionals
• Experience in managing patient care plans and ensuring safety standards
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Board certification in Neurology
• Medical degree (MD or DO) and a valid state medical license
• Experience in a hospital setting and familiarity with using medical software systems
• Commitment to continuous professional development and staying up to date with advancements in neurology
