Network Security Specialist

Smartedge’s Client is looking for an individual to help with their Information Security Specialist @ Milan, Italy

Key Area

• Information Security Specialist
• In-Scope (Vendor Roles/Activities/Responsibilities): Manage Security Management activities assigned by the InfoSec department, coordinate remediation activities in Europe by interacting with the support people assigned in each country Maintenance
• XOLT Application Software:
• Ship WS, ECIS Ship, XOLT Gen WS, XOLT ECIS Gen, XOLT Track WS, XOLT ECIS Track, Tradeability, AV Rest/AVSDK, Import Gateway, Enhanced Monitoring/XMON
• Remediation of vulnerabilities identified by Penetration Testing and Qualys scanning
• Management of operating system obsolescence and lifecycle Security incidents detected by tools installed on machines
• Implementation of projects to improve IT security related to firewalls, authentication, network segmentation, etc.
• Work to achieve and maintain the security level required by InfoSec
• Strong communication skills (both oral and written)
• Will need to work closely with UPS IT, InfoSec, App personnel, and potential direct engagement with UPS customers
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in English
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Network security (firewalls, TCP/IP)
• penetration testing, SIEM/EDR tools,
• cryptography
• OS administration (Windows, Linux)
