Role Overview

The successful candidate will join the Professional Services Delivery (PSD) Networking and Security Team. The PSD mission is to deliver complex enterprise technology solutions; in particular, the Networking and Security Team is in charge to deliver complex Networks convergent, Edge Networks (wired and wireless), Security Networking and Network Data Center transformation projects.

The tasks will include (but not limited to):

• Be responsible for delivery of assigned tasks within the delivery cycle of a project
• Acquire a deep understanding of wireless technology and solutions, especially Network Wireless Infrastructure based on HPE Aruba Products, to deliver part of a detailed technical design, which meets customer requirements
• Install new wireless network equipment; update wireless network infrastructure, firmware and drivers; performing configuration, testing and troubleshooting activities; network management applications; designing wireless architecture by using modelling tools, assist in the preparation of technical presentations and demonstrations and participate in customer meetings
• Work independently and collaborate with the HPE technical lead, with customer nominated representatives to accomplish assigned tasks
• Contribute to design for specific deliverables and assists in the development of technical solutions
• Participate as part of a team and maintains good relationships with team members and customers
• Understand HPE strategy and the role that the individual plays
• Use knowledge tools and reuses information for the benefit of projects, and of professional development
• Use and contribute to technical forums within the HPE environment and local professional communities and technical user groups. Focuses on single customer
• Bring specialized knowledge to a project team and solves complex problems

Required skills and attributes

• Good at partnering, innovating, and making things happen. You are aligned to our core values!
• Holding a Master’s of Computer Science / equivalent degrees
• A person who has 8+ years of technical experience
• A person with a deep understanding of wireless fundamentals and security with experience on wireless networks deployment and troubleshooting, and knowledge of HPE Aruba Products, is a plus
• A skilled user of operating systems like ArubaOS (Aruba Mobility Controllers), Aruba InstantOS
• A person with a sufficient depth and breadth of technical knowledge to be individually responsible for the implementation of a specific deliverable. Able to contribute to the design for deliverables
• Ready to perform/drive resolution of problems on individual products
• Able to communicate broad and specific concepts with team and to peers
• Able to produce documentation for use by team and customer

Desired skills

A person with certification:

• Aruba Certified Mobility Associate (ACMA) or Aruba Certified Mobility Professional (ACMP)
• Certified Wireless Technician (CWT) or Certified Wireless Network Administrator (CWNA)
• Certified Wireless Design Professional (CWDP)
