Network Engineer (L2 Operations - Cisco ACI / Load Balancing) - €50k - Rome (Hybrid) - 6029

Company: I'm working with a well-established technology services company that delivers networking, cybersecurity and digital infrastructure services to large enterprise environments.

They're looking for a Network Engineer (Operations & Maintenance - L2) to support a long-term enterprise networking environment. In this role, you will focus on operating, maintaining and troubleshooting modern data centre infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• You will support L2 network operations and maintenance activities
• You will operate and troubleshoot Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure environments
• You will support load balancing platforms from F5 or Citrix Systems
• You will investigate network incidents and support infrastructure changes
• You will maintain operational documentation and procedures

Required Skills

• You have fluent Italian (and ideally English) language skills
• You have experience carrying out L2 network operations and maintenance activities
• You have hands‑on Cisco Application Centric Infrastructure (ACI) experience
• You have enterprise load balancer experience (F5/Citrix systems)
• You have expert troubleshooting skills, in routing and switching environments
