Among the European leaders in Enterprise Risk Management, Prometeia is looking for a .NET Backend Developer to join its internal development team.

RESPONSIBILITIES

The candidate will work on enterprise applications, contributing to the design, development, and maintenance of modern, scalable backend solutions supporting projects for national and international clients. The candidate will support the team in the following activities:

  • Design and implementation of backend services via Web APIs in C# within a .NET Core/ASP.NET environment
  • Participation in the technical analysis, design, development, testing, and documentation of assigned projects
  • Design and implementation of services based on a microservices architecture
  • Modeling, management, and optimization of relational and NoSQL databases
  • Focus on performance, scalability, and code quality in enterprise application contexts
  • Application of Agile and Lean practices, including structured development and the use of unit and integration testing
  • Continuous collaboration with the team and senior management, fostering knowledge sharing and professional growth
  • Technical interaction with stakeholders and clients, including in English

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 1–2 years of professional experience in developing complex software solutions in structured environments; experience with microservices architectures and related design patterns
  • Degree in Computer Engineering or a STEM discipline (Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or similar)
  • Knowledge of C# and relational databases (SQL Server, PostgreSQL)
  • Experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET, and Entity Framework Core
  • Experience using Docker and familiarity with Kubernetes, preferably in a Microsoft Azure environment
  • Microsoft certifications are considered a plus
  • Good written and spoken English

Nice-to-have

  • Knowledge of VB.NET
  • Mastery of parallel and concurrent programming techniques
  • Experience with Helm Charts
  • Familiarity with DevOps and CI/CD practices

SOFT SKILLS

  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team, be flexible, and be able to work independently
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
