Next Ingegneria dei Sistemi, part of Tinexta Defence Group,is looking for a Navigations System Engineer for a high-profile international space program. The NSE ensures the mission objectives are met with high space standards working in international Teams. Strong technical and managerial skills are part of the profile involved in high level communication with space centers and mission users.

The selected candidate will be in charge of the following activities:

  • Contribution to Ground Segment Integration and Verification Test Plan.
  • Contribution to Ground Segment Integration and Verification Test Cases.
  • Support RF Test Analysis, Implementation and Verification.
  • Preparation of AIV documentation at segment and element level including Test
    Cases, Test Cases, Test Procedures, User Manuals.
  • Definition of program requirements, system level interfaces, also for segments and
    subsystems.
  • Evaluation and identification of needed technologies for system implementation,
    for architecture definition of system segments and subsystems (physical
    architecture included), system modelling.
  • Execution of all the activities needed to assess the test result (test set up, test
    execution, etc.).
  • Provide support for system operations phases, mission concepts, mission plan,
    operative procedures.
  • Support the interaction with Space Center and Users.
  • Contribution to Program Reports and Presentations, Work Plans and Procedures.
  • Preparation of technical and managerial documentation based on ECSS standards

Degree and seniority:

  • MSc in Telecommunication, Electronic Engineering or other relevant scientific
    studies.
  • At least 3 years of professional experience in the space field as:
    • RF System Engineer
    • TLC System Engineer for Space Applications
    • System Analysis / Design Engineer
    • V&V System Engineer

Required Skills:

  • Strong competences in System Engineering / AIV / V&V for space programs.
  • Competence in Radiofrequency / Signals / Telecommunications.
  • Knowledge of System requirements analysis, flow down and verification.
  • Strong knowledge of project/program management methodologies.
  • Experience in Earth Observation, Navigation (considered as a plus) or Satellite
    platforms.
  • Knowledge of ECSS standards.
  • Experience in international and multidisciplinary working teams.
  • Proactive attitude to solve problems with strong communicative and coordination skills in international Teams.
  • Full professional proficiency in English (spoken and written).
  • Availability to travel for milestones review, integration and V&V phases, training activities at space centers and partners locations.

Contract Terms:

  • Long-Term Contract, meal vouchers, employee welfare program, health insurance policy, salary level based on experience and competence.
