OTC Medical Devices - Managing national distribution partners

The National Account Manager , reporting to the EMEA Head of Sales, will implement the regional strategy, ensuring measurable commercial success. He/she will lead all commercial initiatives, drive operational excellence, and deliver strong financial results. The Sales Director will serve as a key link between local markets and the EMEA headquarters, fostering growth through leadership and collaboration. Leading a team of two , he/she will manage relationships with national distribution partners in Italy, Spain, Portugal, and Greece to achieve sales and profit goals and strengthen market position.

Main tasks include:

  1. Planning the annual budget, managing revenue and expenses to ensure profitability and growth.
  2. Maintaining relationships with key customers and professional bodies, representing the company at external events to enhance brand awareness and gather market intelligence.
  3. Managing and developing sales and trade marketing teams, overseeing all sales activities in the region, and managing regional P&L.
  4. Negotiating and overseeing the sales budget to meet turnover and gross profit targets.
  5. Updating and maintaining legal frameworks governing client relationships.
  6. Developing innovative business opportunities for sustainable growth.
  7. Managing forecasts and product lifecycle in collaboration with marketing and supply chain teams.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related field.
  • Experience in consumer products is essential (OTC, pharma, cosmetics, etc.).
  • Minimum 3 years of team management experience.
  • Strong analytical, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with strategic and hands-on execution skills.
  • Experience in Trade Marketing, Distributor Management, or Key Account Management .
  • Willingness to travel extensively.
  • Fluent in English and Italian, both written and spoken.
