The Global Markets Department is responsible for trading, structuring, and risk managing financial instruments across asset classes. It includes the Structured Products desk , which designs and manages customized investment and hedging solutions combining derivatives and cash instruments to meet client-specific objectives. The Plain Vanilla Market Making desk provides continuous liquidity in standard products, actively quoting prices and managing market risk. Operating at the core of the trading floor, the department relies heavily on robust systems and close collaboration between traders, risk managers, and IT to ensure efficient execution, accurate risk monitoring, and strong P&L performance
We are seeking an experienced Murex Support & Implementation Specialist to join our Global Markets team. The successful candidate will work directly on the trading floor within a small, dynamic team, providing hands-on support to front-to-back office users and contributing to the stability and enhancement of our Murex platform.
This role requires a strong blend of technical expertise and functional knowledge, with direct exposure to trading environments and close interaction with traders, risk managers, and middle/back-office stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide day-to-day support for the Murex platform, ensuring business continuity across Front Office, Risk, Middle Office, and Back Office functions.
- Act as the first point of contact for traders, risk managers, and operations teams regarding system issues and enhancements.
- Perform troubleshooting, issue analysis, root cause investigation, and bug fixing.
- Design, implement, and test solutions within the Murex environment.
- Support system releases, perform functional and technical testing, and validate changes before production deployment.
- Collaborate with IT and global teams to improve platform performance and reliability.
- Contribute to ongoing optimization of trading desk processes and system workflows.
Requirements
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Murex in a bank or similar financial institution.
- Technical and functional knowledge of Murex , with experience supporting Front-to-Back Office activities.
- Solid experience in troubleshooting and issue resolution, incident management and root cause analysis and testing and bug hunting.
- Good knowledge of Java programming and Bash scripting.
- Degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Engineering , or a related quantitative field.
- Professional proficiency in English (spoken and written), suitable for daily interaction with international stakeholders in a business environment.
Nice to have:
- Experience working with relational databases (PostgreSQL knowledge is a plus).
- Strong understanding of financial products and trading workflows is highly desirable.
- Ability to work directly with business users in a high-pressure trading floor environment.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
