Overview:
A leading European private equity investment firm with a strong mid-market focus is seeking a driven Analyst to join its Milan-based team. The firm invests across Industrials, Business Services, Consumer, and niche Technology sectors, with a hands-on approach that emphasizes partnership with management teams to deliver sustainable growth and value creation.
This role offers early exposure to cross-border transactions and collaboration with investment professionals across multiple European offices. It’s an exceptional opportunity for a motivated individual to develop core private equity skills within an international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct market, financial, and strategic research to support investment opportunities across Europe
- Build and maintain financial models and valuation analyses under the guidance of senior team members
- Assist in due diligence processes and preparation of investment materials
- Support portfolio performance tracking and contribute to internal reporting
- Participate in cross-European projects and strategic initiatives for portfolio companies
Profile
- 1–1.5 years of experience in investment banking, consulting, or transaction services, ideally in an international setting
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with a proactive, detail-oriented mindset
- Exposure to cross-European transactions or multinational projects is highly valued
- Fluent in English and at least one additional European language (German, French, or Spanish preferred)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ambition to grow in a dynamic, entrepreneurial environment
