Role: Multiomics Lab Director – Crescendo Care srl (Milan)

As Multiomics Lab Director, you will lead a high-impact laboratory that transforms complex biological data into meaningful insights for clinicians, researchers, and patients. In this full-time hybrid role, based in Milan, you will:
- Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary lab team, fostering a culture of scientific excellence, curiosity, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee day-to-day laboratory operations, ensuring the highest standards of quality, reliability, and regulatory compliance.
- Design and guide cutting-edge multiomics projects, from method development to clinical implementation, with a strong focus on data-driven decision making.
- Integrate HPLC/MS-MS technologies and clinical laboratory medicine to build innovative diagnostic solutions that directly impact patient care.
- Collaborate closely with internal and external partners, including clinicians, research groups, and industry stakeholders, to expand the lab’s capabilities and influence.
- Benefit from a flexible work setup that combines on-site presence in our Milan lab with remote work options.
What you bring
- Deep expertise in Clinical Laboratory Medicine and a strong scientific foundation.
- Solid technical proficiency in HPLC/MS-MS and advanced laboratory techniques, including rigorous quality control practices.
- Proven experience in multiomics (e.g., metabolomics, proteomics, lipidomics, genomics) and its application to research and clinical workflows.
- Demonstrated leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate, mentor, and grow talent.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and a data-driven mindset.
- Doctorate (PhD, MD, or equivalent) in Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related life science discipline.
- Previous experience in multiomics research and laboratory management is highly desirable and will allow you to make an immediate impact.
