Offer Description
The objective of the research program is to study and develop artificial intelligence algorithms for online action recognition and user monitoring using smart eyewear. The research will address the problem by leveraging multiple modalities, integrating different sensing sources such as audio, event-based vision, and inertial measurements, together with user gaze information. Artificial intelligence algorithms will be developed to fuse and interpret these heterogeneous modalities, creating a unified, coherent, and enriched representation of the user’s intent within the context of the surrounding environment. This fusion will enable a better understanding of the usage context and provide this information to potential applications, such as user activity monitoring and support for activities of daily living. The effectiveness of the developed algorithms will be validated in real-world scenarios through the creation of novel benchmarks and datasets. The deployment of these algorithms on emb
