MTO MES Modelling Specialist
Summary
Johnson & Johnson is recruiting for an MES Modelling Specialist. This position can be located at a Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine site in Cork, Ireland; Leiden, Netherlands; Schaffhausen, Switzerland; Latina, Italy; Geel, Belgium; Beerse, Belgium; Titusville, NJ; Gurabo, Puerto Rico, Wilson, NC.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead by example and strive to perform to high standards at all times in compliance with Credo and Standards of Leadership. Act as a role model within the Deployment Excellence team.
- Support the execution of NGM projects across MTO.
- Manage business relationships and ensure the NGM program meets business requirements.
- Provide suitable training courses and materials.
- Define SOPs for NGM enabling services.
- Ensure safe execution of job activities and follow environmental practices.
- Ensure personal training requirements are completed in compliance with site procedures.
- Manage, control, approve, and review NGM documentation per global procedures.
- Develop and monitor department metrics/KPIs to meet goals and targets.
- Drive efficiencies across the NGM program by adopting new technologies and improving processes.
- Collaborate with BPO and TPO leads to deploy technologies and share best practices globally.
Required Experience, Skills, and Qualifications
- Third level Degree in engineering, science, or an IT discipline.
- Five or more years of modelling experience within a pharmaceutical or GMP‑regulated manufacturing environment.
Preferred Experience and Skills
- Technical knowledge of S95 Level 3 Electronic Batch systems such as Werum MES PAS‑X.
- Understanding of S95 Level 4 systems (ERP, Quality Systems, Data warehouses) for integrated batch record transition.
- Strong process knowledge for Drug Substance or Drug Product Manufacturing.
- Understanding of ISA S95 & S88 standards and their application within the global supply chain.
- Appreciation of Industry 4.0/IIoT and its transformation potential.
