Contract: 6 Months (with potential extension)

Rate: €30 per hour

VHR is recruiting on behalf of a leading motorsport composites manufacturer in Italy for an experienced Mould Maker . This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established organisation delivering high-performance composite components for the motorsport sector while working on cutting-edge projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Manufacture high-quality composite moulds for motorsport components.
• Prepare, assemble, finish, and inspect tooling to precise specifications.
• Repair, modify, and maintain existing composite moulds and tooling.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
• Ensure all tooling meets dimensional and quality standards.
• Work closely with laminators and production teams to achieve project deadlines.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Mould Maker within the composites industry.
• Proven ability to produce composite tooling to a high standard.
• Strong understanding of engineering drawings and specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Right to work in the EU or eligibility to work in Italy.

Desirable Skills

• Experience within motorsport, Formula 1, or high-performance automotive sectors.
• Knowledge of carbon fibre composite manufacturing processes.
• Experience with tooling repairs and modifications.
• English communication skills; Italian language skills are beneficial.
