Motion & Control Robotics Engineer
Location: Carate Brianza (MB), Italy
Work Model: Hybrid (1 day/week remote)

About the Role
We are seeking a Motion & Control Robotics Engineer to join a robotics motion team focused on enabling precise locomotion, manipulation, and coordinated movement in humanoid robotic platforms.
This is a hands‑on engineering role ideal for candidates with strong expertise in robotics, motion planning, control systems, and real‑world hardware integration.
Key Minimum Requirements (Must-Have)
To be considered, candidates must meet all of the following:
- At least 2 years of professional experience programming in Python
- At least 2 years of hands‑on experience working with ROS2
- At least 2 years of experience in robot motion planning and control systems
Candidates who do not meet these minimum requirements are unlikely to be considered.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize motion planning and control algorithms for robotic locomotion and manipulation
- Collaborate with software, AI, and hardware teams to integrate motion systems into complex robotic platforms
- Develop perception‑to‑manipulation pipelines and control solutions for coordinated movement
- Apply advanced techniques such as reinforcement learning or optimization methods to improve motion and real‑time decision making
- Test, debug, and validate robotic systems in simulation and on physical hardware
- Research and evaluate emerging robotics technologies and algorithms
Additional Requirements
- Masters degree in Robotics Engineering, Automation, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- Strong understanding of object‑oriented programming principles
- Familiarity with Git and modern software development workflows
- Fluent English communication skills
Nice to Have
- Experience with TensorFlow or PyTorch
- Experience with simulation tools such as NVIDIA Isaac Sim
