Overview
MONCLER is looking for an EMEA Retail Maintenance Manager F/M. Reporting to our EMEA Retail Operations Manager, the EMEA Retail Maintenance Manager will be responsible for supervising maintenance activities for all the boutiques in the region and for our EMEA Corporate office in Paris, in a dynamic and constantly evolving work environment. This role aims to create a sustainable, safe, clean and functional environment for employees and customers on a daily basis, ensuring internal and external compliance with all global guidelines and legal obligations of maintenance activities.
Your Impact
This position implies availability for frequent business trips across Europe.
Main Responsibilities
- Ensure within the retail and outlet network the proper functioning of equipment (electrical, air conditioning, lifting, special equipment, and furnishings) by carrying out preventive and curative maintenance activities and checking installations jointly with service providers.
- Apply defined processes and implement the Facilities process with a focus on cost control, quality and efficiency.
- Plan and organize the intervention of maintenance companies, managing external service providers to support store managers with a high-quality, customer-focused service standard, and identify and select new suppliers when necessary.
- Conduct regular inspection visits and audits of contracts to control services and ensure proper contractual application, providing recommendations for continuous improvement and raising awareness of energy‑and‑environmental‑management implications.
- Manage and follow up on all maintenance contracts for the facilities scope to achieve the related KPIs.
- Track and manage maintenance costs, respect budgets and deadlines, continually seeking more efficient methods.
- Identify internal customer needs, carry out feasibility studies, and manage interventions—technical and administrative aspects—by handling maintenance tickets, quotations, and invoices in Moncler internal systems.
- Present recommendations and reports to the EMEA Retail Operations Manager on work plans to meet store‑specific requirements and objectives.
Qualifications
- Graduated in Technical Education such as building engineering or architecture, with at least 5 years of experience in similar functions in a structured international retail company. Experience managing service providers for equipment maintenance (cleaning, electricity, HVAC, elevator, plumbing, layout, etc.) and expertise in electrical, mechanical, anti‑intrusion, and smoke detection systems.
- Excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and strict follow‑up.
- Team‑working personality with good relationships at all levels of the organization and a strong listening ability.
- Proactive, rigorous, methodical, and a developed sense of service.
- Comfortable with IT tools—Office Pack, AutoCAD, formalisation and reporting.
- Working proficiency in English and Italian is required.
