Model Developer – High Voltage Battery Systems

Responsibilities
- Develop, adapt, and integrate model‑based BMS functions such as thermal models, SoC/SoH estimation, cell voltage processing, and charge end detection.
- Implement functions in MATLAB/Simulink (TargetLink is a plus).
- Evaluate and improve existing models.
- Perform MIL tests, regression testing, and automated result evaluations.
- Collaborate closely with function developers, system architects, validation teams, and cross‑functional stakeholders.
- Document model changes, interfaces, and validation results according to internal standards.
Qualifications
- Degree in electrical engineering, mechatronics, automotive engineering, computer science, physics, or a related field.
- Experience in model‑based development using MATLAB/Simulink; TargetLink is beneficial.
- Understanding of Li‑ion battery behavior and thermal characteristics desirable.
- Familiarity with version control (Git), MIL/SIL testing, and automotive toolchains (e.g., CANoe/CANalyzer).
- Analytical, structured, and collaborative working style with a strong sense of ownership and proactivity.
- Fluent English required; German is an advantage.
