Mobile Engineering Manager (Bangkok based, relocation provided)

We are looking for a world‑class development manager to lead the Mobile Platform for Booking team and build Agoda’s native mobile experience.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with product managers to shape and execute the roadmap, define what and why.
• Lead technical decisions, guide and review the engineering team’s work, and adopt new platform features.
• Create and drive a roadmap for continuous code cleanup, establish a robust testing strategy and ensure high‑quality delivery.
• Balance technical product manager and project manager roles, ensuring timely delivery.
• Coordinate with cross‑functional stakeholders, report to senior leadership and influence strategic decisions.
• Recruit, develop and mentor engineers, inspiring them to achieve their full potential.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and make informed decisions on technology adoption.

Qualifications

• Extremely proficient in Swift or Kotlin
• Experience or interest in cross‑platform technologies such as Kotlin Multiplatform, React Native, Flutter, NativeScript, Ionic
• Knowledge of other languages (Objective‑C, Java, C#, Scala) is a plus
• Proficiency in modern coding practices (dependency injection, reactive programming, MVVM, design patterns)
• Passionate about technology and mobile apps
• Experience working in a successful agile development team
• Able to take full responsibility for the product from planning to deployment and maintenance
