Middle School Teacher at Florence Bilingual School (FBS), a bilingual Italian/English school accredited by Cambridge International. FBS has been active since 1973 and is part of the Cognita Schools group.

About the Role:

As a Middle School Teacher of Italian History & Geography, you will design and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons that spark curiosity and independence. Your responsibilities include:

• Planning and delivering high‑quality lessons aligned with the curriculum.
• Using a variety of teaching methods to meet diverse student needs.
• Fostering a positive classroom environment that encourages high expectations, creativity, and strong relationships.
• Monitoring and assessing student progress, providing timely and constructive feedback.
• Contributing to school reporting, wider school activities, and sustaining safeguarding responsibilities at all times.
• Collaborating with colleagues and engaging parents to support academic and personal development.
• Actively participating in school life through events, trips, and ongoing professional development.

Who We Are Looking For:

• Passionate educator with strong subject knowledge in Italian History and Geography.
• Relevant degree and teaching qualification.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a classroom setting.
• Excellent communication, organisational and inclusive classroom management skills.
• Adaptable, collaborative, and committed to continuous professional growth.
• Dedication to supporting student well‑being, progress and a vibrant school community.

Employment Details: Start date: September 2, 2026. Contract: part‑time, fixed term until June 30, 2027 – 8 hours per week.
