About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Product Designer to lead end-to-end design across telemonitoring and at-home diagnostics. You’ll work closely with Product, Engineering, and Clinical teams to translate complex needs into intuitive, accessible, and high-trust experiences. You’ll mentor a junior designer and help evolve our design system and design culture.

You will

  • Lead discovery: conduct user research with patients and healthcare professionals; synthesize insights into opportunities.
  • Design end-to-end: translate insights into journeys, flows, wireframes, high-fidelity UIs, and prototypes.
  • Ship with impact: partner with PM and Engineering from scope to launch; define success metrics; iterate based on data and feedback.
  • Elevate craft and quality: drive accessibility, information architecture, and interaction patterns that reduce cognitive load.
  • Facilitate alignment: run workshops to frame problems, explore solutions, and make informed trade-offs.
  • Mentor: support a junior designer’s growth and help shape design best practices and rituals.
  • Contribute to systems: evolve our design system for consistency, scalability, and speed.

What success looks like

  • Reduced clinical workload via clearer workflows and fewer steps.
  • Higher adherence and engagement for patients using remote monitoring.
  • Measurable improvements in task completion, error rates, and support tickets.
  • Faster delivery cycles without quality trade-offs.
  • A stronger, more cohesive design culture and system.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in Product Design with shipped, impactful work on complex products (healthcare/medtech is a plus).
  • Demonstrated end-to-end ownership: research, strategy, interaction design, prototyping, usability testing, delivery.
  • Strong systems thinking: can simplify complex workflows into elegant, accessible solutions.
  • Experience facilitating workshops and aligning cross-functional teams.
  • Portfolio that shows clear problem framing, process, rationale, and outcomes (metrics or clear proxy measures).
  • Fluent in Italian (B2/C1+) and professional English; excellent communication with clinical stakeholders.
  • Based in Italy; ability to join occasional sessions in Milan.

Nice to Haves

  • Experience in regulated or high-trust domains (healthcare, fintech, gov).
  • Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG), service design, and motion for clarity.
  • Analytics and experiment mindset (e.g., Amplitude, product metrics, A/B tests).
  • Experience with design systems at scale (Figma libraries, tokens).
  • Basic understanding of clinical standards/workflows is a plus.

Our Values

We grow and learn

  • You’ll work across the full design cycle and with multiple stakeholders. We embrace mistakes as part of learning.

We make it interesting

  • We match challenges with your strengths and growth areas. Proactivity and ownership are encouraged.

  • We prioritize team goals, create a safe environment, and value diverse strengths and perspectives.
