We are looking for a Microsoft Fabric / Data Engineer with experience in designing and building modern data platforms on Microsoft Fabric , implementing Azure integrations, and enabling AI use cases , with the ability to work also as a full‑stack developer supporting data applications.

WHAT THE JOB IS ABOUT
- Design end‑to‑end solutions on Microsoft Fabric , including: OneLake , Lakehouse , Data Engineering (Spark/Notebooks) , Data Factory (Pipelines) , Data Warehouse (SQL endpoint) , Real‑Time Intelligence , Data Activator , and Power BI (semantic models, DAX, tabular).
- Develop Azure integrations and data platforms , including ingestion and processing with ADLS Gen2 , orchestration with Azure Functions / Logic Apps , streaming with Event Hubs / Stream Analytics , data exposure through API Management , secret management via Key Vault , and governance with Microsoft Purview .
- AI & MLOps : model training and deployment using Azure Machine Learning , integration with Azure AI Studio/OpenAI , implementation of RAG patterns on OneLake, and orchestration of ML pipelines within Fabric.
- Full‑stack data applications : develop microservices and front‑end components to support data-driven use cases (e.g., C#/.NET , Python/FastAPI , Node.js/TypeScript , React ), embed Power BI, and manage CI/CD pipelines with Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions .
- DataOps / DevOps / MLOps : version control, testing, monitoring, IaC (Bicep/Terraform), cost governance (FinOps), and security‑by‑design principles.
- Cross‑functional collaboration with IT, product, and business teams to translate requirements into scalable and secure solutions.

REQUIREMENTS
- Experience : minimum 3+ years in data engineering/analytics roles on Microsoft or equivalent technology stacks.
- Academic background: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering or other equivalent technical degree.
- Microsoft Fabric : hands‑on experience with OneLake/Lakehouse , Data Engineering (Spark) , Data Factory , Data Warehouse , Power BI , and Real‑Time Intelligence .
- Languages & Querying : proficiency in SQL , Python (PySpark) , DAX/MDX ; experience with data modeling (star schema, data vault) and performance optimization.
- Azure : familiarity with ADLS Gen2 , Event Hubs / Stream Analytics , Functions / Logic Apps , Key Vault , Purview , and core concepts of networking, security, and identity.
- AI : solid knowledge of machine learning fundamentals (model lifecycle, feature engineering, MLOps) and integration with Azure ML / Azure AI Studio / OpenAI .
- Engineering practices : experience with Git , CI/CD (Azure DevOps or GitHub), IaC (Bicep/Terraform), testing, and observability.
- Soft skills : consulting mindset, strong problem‑solving ability, clear communication, and teamwork; English level B2+ .
