Position

Alpinestars is looking for a Microsoft Azure Solutions Architect and Data Engineer to design, implement, and govern scalable cloud solutions and modern data platforms on Microsoft Azure.

Responsibilities:

• You will manage cloud integration architectures, ensure high availability, disaster recovery, performance, and cost optimization.
• You will select and implement Azure services.
• You will support cloud migration and modernization initiatives.
• You will be in charge of designing and operating modern Azure data platforms (ADF/Synapse, Azure SQL).
• You will build reliable batch and streaming data pipelines.
• You will ensure data quality, security, and governance.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Strong hands-on experience with Azure architecture and services.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Data Engineer.
• Solid knowledge of data warehousing/Lakehouse, SQL, and data modeling.
• Experience with batch and real-time data processing and integration patterns.
• Scripting skills (PowerShell, Python, or SQL).
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
• Fluency in English.

Nice to Have:

• Azure Solutions Architect Expert and/or Azure Data Engineer certifications.
• Experience with hybrid environments and BI tools (Power BI, Analysis Services).
