Job description
To expand our commercial team, we are looking for a Sales Senior Executive, Groups & MICE with proven experience in the sector and a strong aptitude for creating effective and competitive commercial proposals.
Main Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed quotations for MICE events (meetings, conferences, incentives, banquets, team-building activities), ensuring accuracy, competitiveness, and compliance with company guidelines.
- Analyze requests from clients, agencies, and DMCs, identifying tailored solutions and proposing configurations for spaces, F&B services, setups, rooms, and ancillary activities.
- Manage the entire commercial proposal cycle, from receiving the request to cost definition and presenting the quotation to the client, until preparation of the contract.
- Upload the completed quotation into the internal management system in accordance with company procedures.
- Collaborate with operational departments (Booking, F&B, Events, Revenue Management) to ensure feasibility and optimize profitability.
- Manage communications and timely follow-ups on sent proposals, maintaining strong relationships with corporate clients, agencies, and partners.
- Constantly update the CRM and contribute to internal reporting on the performance of the Leisure segment.
- Monitor competitors, market trends, and rates, contributing to the definition of the company’s MICE commercial strategy and suggesting innovative actions.
- Participate in trade fairs, workshops, and site inspections when required .
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in Sales or Event/Booking Office roles, preferably in 4*/5* hotels or properties with a strong MICE focus.
- Excellent costing and pricing skills for hotel services.
- Strong aptitude for managing complex and multi-level quotations.
- Advanced knowledge of hotel management systems and event management software (e.g., Opera Cloud, Delphi, Cvent).
- Familiarity with CRM systems and Microsoft Office .
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong sales and customer-oriented mindset.
- Strong proficiency in English (knowledge of an additional language is highly valued).
- Readiness to travel for business needs.
- An active portfolio of B2B, MICE, leisure, and corporate contacts is highly valued.
