Merchandise Operations Specialist
Key Responsibilities
· Allocation & Replenishment: Use sales and inventory data to manage stock transfers, replenishment and recalls, ensuring balanced assortments and healthy inventory levels across stores.
· Data Analysis & Reporting: Prepare daily and weekly sales, inventory and sell-through reports; provide data-driven recommendations on product adjustments and promotional actions.
· Product Lifecycle Management: Support new product launches through allocation planning, monitor sell-through performance, and initiate reorders or markdowns to reduce slow-moving stock risks.
· Cross-functional Coordination: Collaborate with design, production, logistics and finance teams to ensure on-time delivery, accurate stock records and smooth operational execution.
· Store Communication & Feedback Loop: Establish a regular communication mechanism with stores, align on key product strategies and delivery plans, and collect feedback on product needs from the store side.
· Market Research: Gather competitor and industry data, conduct SWOT analyses, and translate insights into product strategy and pricing decisions.

Fluent English required (used as working language)

This position is based in Milan, Italy, near the central train station.
