Purpose of the position
Support the Men’s Shoes Merchandising Manager in the definition, development, and management of the shoes collection from a commercial perspective.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Men’s Shoes Merchandising Manager throughout the product creation process from a commercial standpoint.
- Assist in defining the collection structure in terms of pricing, models, and Stock Keeping Unit management.
- Assist Men’s Shoes Merchandising Manager co-ordinating product feedback from Regional Merchandising teams
- Support the Men’s Shoes Merchandising Manager during the review of prototypes with regard to function, consumer acceptance, trade acceptance.
- Collect and organize product information, including materials, construction techniques, and design details.
- Monitor sales performance and support in preparing global category analyses.
- Assist in budget monitoring and controlling activities.
Skills, Competencies & Qualifications
- Education: currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a recognized university program (Economics, Business, Marketing, or related fields preferred).
- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
- Good organizational and planning abilities, with attention to detail.
- Previous internship or academic experience in fashion, luxury, or merchandising is considered a plus.
- Strong team player with curiosity, commitment, and a proactive mindset.
- Fluent in English and Italian.
