Emergency Medicine Consultant – Relocate to Waterford, Ireland

Location: Waterford, Ireland

Contract: Full-time, 37 hours per week

Your Role:

• Take a leadership role in the Emergency Department, delivering outstanding clinical care.
• Mentor and supervise junior doctors, fostering professional growth.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure efficient, patient-centred services.
• Participate in clinical governance and help shape service development initiatives.

Who We’re Looking For:

• Eligible for specialist registration with the Irish Medical Council (IMC). (Currently, applicants from Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Croatia, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Hungary, Malta, Poland, Romania, Slovenia, Slovakia, Finland, Sweden, and the United Kingdom are automatically recognized. Applicants from other countries, e.g., US, South Africa, Australia, may be considered if IMC registration is active or in progress.)
• Minimum 3–5 years’ post-specialist experience preferred.
• Ready to relocate to Ireland in 2026.

Salary & Benefits:

• Competitive salary: €235,000–€283,000 per year , depending on experience.
