About the Role

We are seeking an Oncology-focused Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to join our Medical Affairs team. This field-based role will focus on building high-value scientific partnerships with oncologists, gyn-oncologists, and key oncology stakeholders. You will act as a trusted scientific expert, supporting evidence generation, engaging with KOLs, and delivering impactful medical insights to shape strategy and improve patient outcomes in oncology.



Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute regional oncology medical engagement plans, targeting key oncology HCPs and centres.
  • Identify, engage and build long-term relationships with oncology KOLs and clinical experts.s
  • Support oncology clinical trials, registries and real-world evidence (RWE) initiatives, including site identification and recruitment
  • Facilitate investigator-initiated studies (IIS) and collaborate with external experts on scientific research
  • Partner with physicians on publications, advisory boards, congresses and medical education activities
  • Deliver high-quality scientific exchange on oncology data, including clinical trial results and treatment pathways.
  • Act as a scientific expert in oncology, providing deep disease and product knowledge
  • Gather and communicate field-based medical insights to inform oncology strategy, lifecycle management and market access.s
  • Support internal teams (Market Access, Commercial, Marketing) with oncology expertise and scientific input.
  • Deliver training on oncology topics to internal stakeholders
  • Map and prioritise oncology centres, networks and thought leaders using CRM tools
  • Maintain accurate reporting and documentation of all MSL activities



Qualifications

  • Advanced scientific degree (PhD, PharmD, MD or equivalent)
  • 2–3+ years’ experience as an MSL within Oncology or strong oncology clinical/research background
  • Therapeutic expertise in oncology or gyn-oncology (essential)
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Oncology clinical trials and endpoints
  • Real-world evidence (RWE) and data interpretation
  • Treatment pathways and evolving oncology landscape
  • Experience engaging with oncologists, cancer centres and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Knowledge of compliance and regulatory requirements in medical affairs
  • Fluency in Italian (essential) and good command of English

Pay range and compensation package
