Job Title: Medical Scientific Liaison, Biologics (MSL)
Location: Italy, North / Center (Field Based)
Role Overview
The Medical Scientific Liaison (MSL) is a key internal expert providing field‑based scientific and clinical support to healthcare professionals. The MSL maintains up‑to‑date medical, scientific and technical knowledge in dermatology and supports Galderma initiatives within assigned therapeutic areas.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain professional relationships with key opinion leaders (KOLs/KTLs) and academic centers to ensure access to current medical and scientific information.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional customer‑facing teams to deliver non‑promotional trainings, education, presentations, and other engagement activities.
- Develop, maintain and share in‑depth knowledge of dermatology/skin disorders.
- Implement effective educational messaging to increase scientific awareness and advocacy of Galderma Integrated Dermatology products.
- Deliver credible scientific and medical presentations to physicians, healthcare providers and other stakeholders.
- Identify, develop and maintain contacts with local, regional and national key opinion leaders and experts through approved field engagement plans.
- Support identification of physicians, investigators and stakeholders requiring assistance from the MSL, with the aim of increasing diversity among KOLs/KTLs and HCPs.
Qualifications
- Medical, pharmacy or higher degree qualification (e.g., MD, PhD) in a relevant life sciences field.
- Expertise in immunology‑biologics and dermatology; experience with biologics launches is essential.
- Several years of related medical and/or research and development experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical devices industry.
- Demonstrated experience of developing and presenting scientific/medical content at multiple hierarchical levels.
- Strong communication, presentation, meeting planning and facilitation skills.
- Ability to interface effectively with various technical platforms.
- Team‑oriented (matrix) environment experience and ability to organize, prioritize, and work effectively in a constantly changing setting.
- Ability to develop good relationships and credibility with medical professionals.
