On its behalf, we are seeking an experienced Medical Manager Oncology .


Main responsibilities:

Scientific support & medical information

  • Responding promptly and professionally to unsolicited medical requests from healthcare professionals and stakeholders, ensuring up-to date, balanced, and compliant scientific information.
  • Participating in national and regional scientific events, including congresses and symposia, to disseminate relevant clinical knowledge.

Knowledge development & sharing

  • Monitoring the evolving scientific landscape and communicating key updates internally.
  • Supporting HCPs and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) by providing clinical and scientific data aligned with Ipsen’s strategy.
  • Promoting internal knowledge sharing across departments.

Medical brand support & MSL activities

  • Contributing to the planning and execution of clinical trials and publication activities.
  • Supporting the MSL team and coordinating medical information initiatives.
  • Organizing Advisory Boards and scientific training sessions.
  • Reviewing and contributing to scientific and promotional materials.

Compliance & governance

  • Ensuring all activities are conducted in line with EFPIA codes, local regulations, and Ipsen SOPs.
  • Reviewing promotional and nonpromotional content in accordance with internal systems and processes.
  • Actively participating in SOP reviews and maintaining up-to-date training records.

Operational involvement

  • Supporting supplier selection, contract management, and sponsorship activities while identifying and minimizing potential tax-related risks in these processes.


Requirements:

  • Advanced degree (MD, PharmD, PhD or equivalent) with a strong medical/scientific background.
  • 3–5+ years of experience in Medical Affairs roles within multinational pharmaceutical companies.
  • Strong ability to critically appraise clinical data and manage complex scientific information.
  • Proven experience in collaborating with HCPs, KOLs, and cross-functional teams.
  • Background in clinical practice and/or direct Medical Affairs activities is highly valued
  • Fluent in Italian and English, both written and spoken.
