To strengthen our Operation Italy Team, based in Milan, Italy, we are seeking a talented individual for the position of Medical Affair Head Italy .

As the Medical Affair Head Italy, you will:

• Be accountable for medical affairs excellence oversight and governance for Italy.
• Ensure a consistent and high standard of therapeutic area plans through fostering medical and scientific rigor.
• Partner with Therapeutic Area Heads (immunology, neurology, rare diseases, established brands) to align medical excellence with value creation.

You will also drive:

• Medical excellence and capabilities across the organization.
• Scientific integrity and compliance.
• Partnerships within the local healthcare ecosystem.

You will contribute by:

• Participating in the country Leadership Team, leveraging regional and global initiatives.
• Overseeing therapeutic area strategies in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
• Managing medical governance, strategy, and training initiatives.
• Fostering a culture of scientific rigor and maintaining the company's scientific reputation.
• Leading medical capability development and ensuring ethical value delivery.
• Acting as the key contact for clinical development and operations at the country level.
• Participating in launch readiness and pipeline planning.
• Contributing to local insights in global Medical Affairs capabilities.
• Ensuring compliance with regulations and managing risks.
• Providing metrics, quality controls, and operational assessments.

Qualifications include:

• Significant experience in Medical Affairs within pharma companies.
• Experience with drug launches in rare diseases or crowded markets.
• Experience in pharma development, especially in new therapeutic areas.
• Leadership, emotional intelligence, and influencing skills.
• Ability to work under stress, in teams, and in matrix environments.
• High standards of ethics and compliance.
