Job Description

Role & Function

The mission of this role is to support the main activities, strategies and objectives related to the Medical Affairs Haematology.

The MA supports the whole Medical Affairs Haematology Department in order to maximize its scientific value leading medical initiatives and contributing to increase the scientific knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high quality medical and scientific communications in line with defined communication plans
  • Maintain collaborative relationships with KOLs, scientific experts and other medical scientific stakeholders
  • Support BU Haematology in developing and execute local / national medical tactics and provide input to local / global plans
  • Collaborate with MSLs in operation of phase IV and investigator-initiated studies
  • Organize and manage Scientific Advisory Boards
  • Provide scientific training to market, sales and patient access departments
  • Review patient information materials and other educational tools
  • Review and approve marketing material according to local and international guidelines
  • Attend relevant national and international congresses and symposia to represent Sobi and interact with stakeholders and customers and to remain updated on the related therapeutic area

Qualifications

  • University degree in medical / science or other relevant field
  • At least 5 years of direct experience in Medical Affairs department, included MSL role
  • Preferably experience from medical affairs, medical / clinical science, clinical development, access and health economy
  • Preferably hands on experience within haematology and rare diseases
  • Experience from an international Life Science organization
  • In-depth knowledge of national healthcare systems and practices
  • Ability to create and network with KOLs at local level
  • Ability to network cross-departmentally with local sales and market access
  • Knowledge of national healthcare system and decision making, including regulatory, safety, legal and compliance
  • Experience in communicating and building relations with authorities
  • Proficient user of modern IT and office software
