Mechanical Supervisor

It specializes in the production of innovative and turn‑key plants such as hot and cold rolling mills, process lines, reheating furnaces, continuous casting machines, and related equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the installation of mechanical parts and equipment.
• Check the correct alignment and movements of the equipment.
• Ensure the erection company performs its work according to the time schedule, design, and technical requirements.
• Verify planning of resources of the erection company.
• Interface with the engineering departments to resolve any issues during execution.
• Check and sign erection completion documents.
• Manage vendors and contractors.
• Attend meetings with the customer to report progress.
• Manage the relationship with the client and, if required, with local authorities.
• Coordinate with the headquarter and subcontractors.
• Prepare daily reports on supervision activities.
• Provide technical assistance during trial and commissioning phases.

Qualifications

• Leadership skills to coordinate, manage and control mechanical/piping erection activities in industrial plants.
• At least 3–5 years of professional experience in the construction of steel processing plants.
• Knowledge of site erection and commissioning activities, preferably for steel plants.
• Very good written and spoken English.
• Ability to work in a team and flexibility.
• Willingness to travel worldwide.
• Strong organizational skills, sense of responsibility, and ability to work under pressure.
• Open‑mindedness towards new approaches and innovations.
