General Description of Role and Responsibilities :
- Manage and oversee mechanical and machinery projects in the MENA and Europe regions.
- Develop project plans schedules and budgets in collaboration with clients and other team members.
- Conduct site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
- Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to clients and senior management.
- Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
- Review and approve design plans specifications and drawings.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure that work meets project requirements.
- Provide technical support and guidance to junior engineers and project team members.
- Identify and resolve any project issues or delays in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and codes.
- Participate in project meetings and provide input on technical matters.
- Prepare project reports and presentations for clients and senior management.
- Stay updated on industry developments and advancements in mechanical and machinery engineering.
Qualifications Experience Knowledge and Skills :
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in mechanical and machinery engineering preferably in the MENA and Europe regions.
- Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years hands‑on experience in offshore projects.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and machinery systems equipment and materials.
- Experience in project management and construction management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills.
- Proficient in project management software and MS Office.
- Fluency in English both written and spoken.
