Mechanical Engineer - Mill

The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining product and industry knowledge. You will work in a team-oriented environment that accelerates operational efficiency.

To help us drive excellence, you’ll get to:

• Specify and follow-up on new machinery coming into the plant
• Automate new and takeover jobs for all automated lines
• Support process improvement initiatives and activities throughout the plant, with a focus on the steel tube mill department
• Stabilize the process by determining root causes of process issues and implementing corrective actions as needed

Required experience:

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university, or five years plus related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Steel Tube-Mill experience preferred
• Proficient in troubleshooting and correcting workflow problems
• Knowledge of standard quality practices
