Mechanical Engineer (m/f/x)

Responsibilities:

• Analyzing customer needs to propose mechanical solutions that fit the requirements of printed circuit board design.
• Providing mechanical solutions considering power dissipation, IP ratings, and insulation regulations.
• Offering solutions that account for volumes, production, and design to manufacturing.
• Managing purchases of components.
• Maintaining constant contact with mechanical suppliers, planning sampling, and finding design solutions to keep production costs down.
• Interacting with cross-functional teams (PCB design, electronic engineers, etc.).

Our Requirements:

• Willingness to consider technicians or engineers with no work experience.
• Technical competence with a mechanical focus, preferably with studies or interest in power electronics.
• Professional experience as a designer or mechanical draftsman in sheet metal box fabrication, CNC machining, or die casting is preferred.
• Preferred experience with AutoCAD and Solidworks.
• Good command of the English language; other languages (German, Chinese, French) are welcome.
• Analytical, structured, and independent way of working.
