Mechanical Designer

Role Purpose: By joining our Product Platform Department you will cover a key role in Simonelli Group product design process. You will contribute to achieve our product development and quality targets while meeting our world-wide customers' needs. Key Responsibilities: Mechanical design of internal and external components of our products Definition of molds and interface with suppliers for the request and optimization of sampling Working in team to monitor the progress of the project Gantt chart Interfacing with suppliers for quotation requests and co-design Mechanical design following the criteria of Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Total Cost Ownership (TCO) Key Competencies & Requirements: Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering Previous experience in Mechanical Design is preferred Strong knowledge of 3D design and related tools English knowledge: B2 level Microsoft Office package: good knowledge (especially Excel) AutoCAD and Inventor proficiency is a plus Be able to work by projects and by objectives
