Our organization, made up of bright young engineers and professionals from all over the world, is constantly growing and we are seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer.
This person is a technical specialist in the design, modeling and development of pressure equipment, such as heat exchangers, pressure vessels, air receivers, and steam drums, for industrial and energy plant applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical parts and assemblies using 2D/3D CAD tools (Autocad, Inventor).
- Perform feasibility studies, tolerance analyses, and design optimizations.
- Prepare GAD and civil input drawings
- Prepare detailed drawings, bills of materials (MTO), and technical documentation.
- Support production, procurement, and quality departments during product industrialization.
- Ensure compliance with applicable standards (CE, PED, ASME, ISO…).
- Contribute to design reviews and continuous improvement initiatives.Interface with vendors during RFQs, technical alignment, design review, and final approval phases.
- Collaborate with the piping and process teams for correct integration into the plant systems.
Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- 3–5 years of experience in mechanical design, ideally in the energy, machinery, or industrial plants sector.
- Proficiency in 2D and 3D CAD
- Knowledge of mechanical materials and manufacturing processes.
- Basic understanding of FEM analysis (preferred).
- Good command of technical English.
- Teamwork, precision, and strong problem-solving attitude.Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
- Knowledge of applicable design codes (ASME Section VIII, EN 13445, PED, API).
- Fluent in English; Italian is a plus.
- Availability for occasional travel for supplier meetings and inspections.
