Role Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategically‑mindful Measurement Supervisor specializing in Marketing Mix Modeling (MMM). This is a pivotal position that will serve as a strategic partner for high‑profile clients, developing, interpreting, and presenting advanced econometric models to inform media budget allocation.
Key Responsibilities
- MMM Architecture and Development : Lead the end‑to‑end design and development of complex Marketing Mix Models (MMM) for a diverse portfolio of top‑tier clients, ensuring methodological rigor and practical applicability.
- Strategic Analysis and Storytelling : Interpret model results to identify the strategic "so what?", build persuasive data‑driven narratives and present clear, actionable recommendations to senior stakeholders (Marketing Managers, Media Directors, and C‑level executives), including in international contexts.
- Client Consulting and Partnering : Serve as the technical and strategic point of contact for clients, managing expectations, delving into their business needs, and providing expert advice on optimizing media investments and campaign effectiveness.
- Best Practices & Innovation : Contribute to the development and implementation of new methodologies, techniques, and best practices in media performance analysis and MMM, exploring the adoption of cutting‑edge tools and libraries (e.g., Google Meridian, Meta's Robyn).
- Cross‑functional Collaboration : Operate in close synergy with Data & Tech colleagues and also internal Strategy & Planning and Media teams across various WPP group agencies, acting as a bridge between quantitative analysis and strategic application.
- Mentorship and Internal Development : Provide technical guidance and informal mentorship to more junior colleagues, fostering an environment of learning and growth within the Measurement & Analytics team.
- Project Management : Oversee and coordinate modeling‑related project activities, ensuring deadlines are met and quality objectives are achieved.
Requirements
- Academic Background : Master’s degree in Statistics, Quantitative Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Management Engineering, or related quantitative fields. A Ph.D. will be considered a significant plus.
- Proven Experience : At least 6+ years of practical and significant experience in the construction, validation, and presentation of Marketing Mix Models (MMM) or in data‑driven strategic consulting/advanced analytics roles, preferably within media agencies, consulting firms, or companies with a strong focus on media effectiveness.
- Advanced Technical Expertise :
- Advanced proficiency in statistical programming languages such as R and/or Python.
- Solid knowledge and practical experience with statistical modeling techniques: multiple linear regression, time series analysis, Bayesian models, and causal inference concepts.
- Ability to work with complex and large datasets, extracting and manipulating data from various sources.
- Commercial and Strategic Mindset : Proven ability to transform technical insights into clear, compelling strategic recommendations for high‑level decision‑makers, tying data analysis to client business objectives.
- Communication and Consulting Skills : Excellent presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to simplify complex concepts for non‑technical audiences and influence strategic decisions.
- Data Visualization : Strong ability to create impactful data visualizations and effective storytelling for senior client presentations.
- Language : Excellent command of English (written and spoken) is essential.

- Direct experience with modern open‑source MMM libraries such as Google Meridian.
- Knowledge of other media effectiveness measurement methodologies (e.g., multi‑touch attribution, A/B testing).
- Familiarity with data visualization platforms like Tableau, Power BI, or Data Studio.
- Previous experience in an agency or consulting environment with exposure to multi‑sector clients.
